ToolFern is run by one person, so when you write in, you're writing to me directly, not a support queue. Suggest a new tool, report a bug, question a calculator's numbers, or just say what's not working. I read every message.

What to write in for
- A new tool idea. Tell me what you're trying to do, not just the tool name, that's usually enough to figure out if it fits. A lot of the site's existing tools started as exactly this kind of email.
- A bug or broken tool. Include the tool's URL, your device and browser, the file type or values you were using, and what you expected to happen instead. That's the difference between a same-day fix and a guess.
- A calculator figure that looks wrong. The finance and tax calculators are rebuilt each year against current published figures; if something looks off, tell me which tool and what number you'd expect, and I'll check it against the source.
- Privacy or data requests. See the Privacy Policy for what's collected and your rights; email here to make a request.
- Business, advertising or partnership inquiries. Happy to hear these too, just say plainly what you're proposing.
Before you write in about a bug
Two things fix a surprising number of issues on their own: a hard refresh of the page, and trying the tool in a different browser (Safari and Chrome handle some file formats differently, which is a browser limitation, not something we can patch around). If it still doesn't work after that, definitely send the details above.
